- My apartment's parking lot is under construction
- It has been under construction since June
- Tenants who park in said lot are forced to park in the plaza across the street
- There is not enough parking in said plaza
- Cars parked overnight on the street will be ticketed
Okay. All of that in mind, here's how my day began yesterday:
I walked across the street to my car, which was parked in front of a loading door (in a legal space) at the plaza. There was a sticker on the door saying that any cars parked in front of it would be towed at the owner's expense.
So... essentially the situation is this: We can't park in our own lot. We can't park on the road. There aren't enough spots in the plaza that are safe to park in, and now we're losing more spots because vendors don't like the inconvenience.
This ongoing saga is one of the MANY reasons that I hate living in Toronto. This blog shall serve as an outlet to vent about city life. Join me, and feel the relaxation that the venting brings.
